Hello First Graders,
Dear First Graders,
Happy Thursday! In math, we’ve been learning about how to organize
and interpret data using graphs. We learned how to read graphs AND how to make
our own graphs! Follow the steps below for today’s activity……
1.
Look at the chart that provides information about the pets my
family own (my whole extended family that is!)
Pets Mrs.
Schwan’s Family Have
Dogs

Cats

Hamsters

2.
Use the graph paper to create a picture graph showing the
information from the chart (or make your own on plain paper)
3.
Challenge- write questions to go with the graph (HINT: think about
things like “the most/least”, how many more/less”, “how many in all”
Big Hugs,
Mrs. Schwan
