Happy Tuesday! I hope everyone has a great start to the week! Have you had a chance to look at the first grade learning calendar for this week yet?! This week you will learn about adding double digit numbers, you will listen to some great books on Bookflix and discuss the characters, and you can do some choice writing from the spring writing journal or the April writing menu. I’d love to see some of your work this week, so don’t forget to send me some picture of work you do!! Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! This weekend my family and I went hiking at some local trails near our house. We saw lots of animals and threw rocks in the stream, Colton and Clara especially loved that!! What did you do this weekend?

Hi!! Have you checked out the rainbow rocks hunt at River Road Park? If not, give it a try sometime. People paint rocks and bring them to hide at the park, you then search for them, kind of like an easter egg hunt!! What a neat idea! Here's Chase getting some rocks ready.....
