Happy Tuesday!
During Social
Studies a few weeks ago, we
learned about maps. We learned that maps help us find things and how to get
from one place to another. In school, we made a map of our bedrooms. We
thought about the big furniture and what different pieces would look like if we
were birds flying overhead. We also included a compass rose AND a key to
help us understand what the different parts of the room would look like. Today
I would like you to try your best to make a bird's eye map of one room in your
house (any room you choose)!
1.
Follow this link on
bookflix to read about maps
(the username is Rosendale,

2. Look
around the room you chose and think
about the big pieces of furniture. Look at the top of those pieces and
notice what shape they are.
3. Try
to imagine what the room looks like if you were a bird flying overhead.
4. Do
your best to draw a bird’s eye view of the room!
Big Hugs,
Mrs. Schwan
